The Denver Round Table is an affiliate of Round Table International. The organization was founded on April 19th, 1926. Formed as a non-profit service welfare organization, the "DRT" has always provided community service projects throughout the Denver Metro area.
During the early years, these projects included our members providing funding and labor to update and restore buildings for at-risk individuals such as the developmentally disabled and handicapped children at the Cleo Wallace School and the Easter Seal Handicapped Camp near Georgetown.
Starting in 1978 the DRT organized annual golf tournaments to benefit the Handicapped Sports Program at Children's Hospital. This program is still active and is now known as "ARCH" or Adaptive Research for Childhood Health at Children's Hospital of Colorado.
During the past twenty years, the DRT has continued fundraising through a myriad of different events. These include driving tours, and large social events which feature both live and silent charity auctions. During this time, the DRT has continued the tradition of providing financial support to the ARCH program, Ridgeview Academy, and the Phamaly Theatre Company.
We are very proud of the fact that we have been able to provide an aggregate of over $500,000 to these organizations over the years.
